WWE Superstar Zelina Vega Prefers Honour Over Titles

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Zelina Vega has been gaining popularity in recent months thanks to her association with LWO and has become one of the most beloved Superstars in the WWE women’s division. However, she has yet to win any singles title despite having had several attempts and many fans believe that she should be deserving of one.

► Zelina Vega does not want you to feel sorry for her

During the attacks of September 11, 2001, Zelina Vega lost her father Michael Trinidad, who was working on one of the twin towers before it was hit by a plane full of passengers. Precisely, in the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, a small but emotional video was broadcast in honour of those who died at that tragic moment, on their 22nd birthday.

During a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, Zelina Vega made it clear that she does not want to win the Women’s Championship due to her tragic memories of 9/11. “I’d like to think that maybe part of it has to do with the fact that they wouldn’t want to do it just for that day if that makes sense.

I think either way, you’ll get, ‘Oh, they only gave it to him because it was 9/11 and they wanted to throw him a bone after it happened blah, blah, blah,’ or, ‘Oh, they gave it to him in Puerto Rico because it’s from there’. I would like to think that they wanted to give it to me because I deserve it, and that is what I am looking for… Even though it was everything. “I could have wanted it, I want to get it because I deserve it.”

Indeed, Zelina Vega will continue fighting and working on her own to be a champion one day and she does not expect it to be given to her as an act of “pity” towards her. It remains to be seen if she eventually makes it, but certainly, her fans will be hoping for that to happen.
