WWE Raw Results And Report For 5 December 2023 : Highlights, Match Ratings, Winners And Losers

1 years ago By Jhon Woug

This week, Monday night, Raw proved to be more unexpected than ever. Fresh rivalries came into the picture, whereas differences that remained remained. The pendulum of opportunity swung differently this time, and all hell broke loose once the show erupted. As advertised, fans in attendance had their eyes glued to the ring for CM. Punk had said that a lot of secrets would be revealed. Punk’s absence for a decade had created a void no one could fill, and when the dust settled, the fans wanted nothing more than concrete answers. The MVP Arena in Albany, New York, hosted the extravaganza.

Drew McIntyre took on Sami Zayn in what seemed like a predictable match. McIntyre dominated from the opening bell and exercised his physicality and size. Drew McIntyre has long waited for his chance to return to the top of the food chain. Sami Zayn met his fate with a Claymore that sealed the pinfall victory for Big Drew McIntyre.

Nia Jax proved yet again that she is the real deal. A bonsai drop on Shayna Baszler proved too much for her to handle. This showed the one-sided dominance that Jax demonstrates over her opponents. A workhorse like Shayna Baszler was dominated right from the beginning, and it would now take a mountain to stop Jax from reaching the pinnacle.

Next up was a 2/3 fall match between The Imperium and DIY. The Imperium has shown that they are not the invisibles they used to be, but they were the first to pick up the pin. Ludwig Kaiser pinned Tomasso Ciampa, but the scores were soon levelled as DIY made it ne. The fast-paced match didn’t miss a beat, and the end came when DIY nailed the Imperium with the final pin, making it 2-1.

The Judgement Day (Mysterio and JD McDonagh) took on the Creed brothers. Dominik Mysterio looked quite impressive, as he led by example. The three amigos did remind the loyalists of the late great Eddie Guerrero. But their teamwork was not enough to decimate the already established Creed Brothers, who defeated this version of Judgement Day.

Main Event Jey Uso had the chance for the headlines to be written. Seth Rollins and Uso went out for an all-out war amidst their match. With high-risk manoeuvres tormenting the match,Seth Rollins took control with a suicide dive to the outside. Take nothing away from Uso; he delivered the performance of the night. But Rolns proved too much for the main eventer and blacked out Uso with a pedigree.
