WWE NXT Confirms Matches For 05th September 2023

1 years ago By Sports Desk

The world of WWE NXT is gearing up for an unforgettable night as several high-stakes matches have been announced for the September 5th episode. From championship bouts to No Disqualification matches, the show promises action, drama, and unexpected twists.

The Hunt for NXT North American Championship

In what promises to be a riveting clash, Mustafa Ali will face Dragon Lee for the number one contender spot for the NXT North American Championship. Both competitors have been gunning for the title in recent weeks, and now they get their chance to prove who deserves to challenge the current champion. Adding to the excitement, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, the current NXT North American Champion will serve as the special guest referee for this match. His involvement is sure to add an extra layer of unpredictability to the bout.

NXT Women’s Championship On The Line

Tiffany Stratton, the reigning NXT Women’s Champion, will put her title on the line against Kiana James. James earned her shot by defeating not one, not two, but three other competitors—Gigi Dolin, Roxanne Perez, and even Stratton herself. This match could very well steal the show as both competitors have a point to prove.

No Disqualification

Tensions have been escalating between Bron Breakker and Von Wagner, and it’s about time they settle their differences. Breakker has been on a spear-throwing rampage in recent weeks, targeting Wagner repeatedly. Wagner, for his part, has declared that he’s more than ready to put Breakker through a table. With a No Disqualification match set for the night, there will be nothing holding these two back from unleashing their full arsenal on each other.

Tyler Bate vs. Dabba-Kato

After Dabba-Kato’s interference in Tyler Bate’s match against Joe Coffey on August 22, Bate publicly challenged Kato to meet him in the ring. Initially scheduled for the August 29 episode, the much-anticipated fight has been moved to the September 5th episode of NXT. Bate looks for revenge, while Dabba-Kato aims to further assert his dominance.

Aside from these blockbuster encounters, the episode will also feature Ilja Dragunov taking on Oro Mensah in what is expected to be a highly competitive bout. Furthermore, the Global Heritage Invitational tournament is set to continue, keeping the wrestling aficionados hooked to their screens.
