Mike Chioda details the 3 events that stand out from his WWE career

Chioda’s reminiscences of working SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley Stadium were particularly vivid. “I am going to have to say one of the very early stages I’ve talked about is the ’92 SummerSlam in Wembley Stadium, that was my first 82,000,” he recounted. While he didn’t preside over the main event, Chioda relished the electrifying atmosphere created by the massive crowd and the distinctive horn-filled ambiance.

As he delved further into his storied career, Chioda emphasized two more pivotal events that resonated deeply with him. WrestleMania 18, featuring the historic clash between The Rock and Hulk Hogan, and WrestleMania 31, highlighted by Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns’ contest and Seth Rollins’ unforgettable cash-in, left an indelible impression on him.

He described the exhilaration of officiating the Rock and Hogan match in 2002, stating, “I’m gonna have to go with Rock and Hogan in 2002.” Additionally, Chioda acknowledged the significance of the Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns encounter, alongside the subsequent cash-in orchestrated by Seth Rollins. These moments, etched into wrestling history, stand out as defining points in Chioda’s remarkable career as a referee.
